We cover the four universal rules of firearm safety, including always treating every firearm as if it’s loaded and keeping your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
Before entering the range area, you’ll be fitted with “eyes and ears”—high-quality safety glasses and earmuffs. Because our shooting range is indoors and climate-controlled, you won’t have to worry about the desert wind or sun, allowing you to focus entirely on your instructor’s guidance.
Your instructor will lead you to your assigned lane. They will introduce you to your chosen firearm, explaining how it works and how to hold it. Whether you are shooting a handgun or a fully automatic machine gun, the instructor handles the loading and clearing of the weapon so you can simply focus on the fundamentals: stance, grip, and aim.

Do I need to own a gun to visit the range?
Not at all. Most of our guests are tourists who don’t own firearms. We provide the guns, the ammunition, and the expertise. You just need to bring yourself and a valid ID.
Is there an age limit for beginners?
At Las Vegas Shooting Center, guests as young as 8 years old can shoot under the strict supervision of a parent or legal guardian and our RSOs.
What should I wear to the shooting range?
We highly recommend closed-toe shoes (like sneakers) and shirts with a higher neckline. When a firearm is discharged, it ejects a spent brass casing that is briefly hot; proper clothing ensures these don’t cause minor burns or distractions.
